Help for Haiti on November 4: Join us at First Friday for Good
November 4 is our next First Friday for Good! This time around, we’re welcoming two pop-up shops: the GO Exchange, Goat Hill Coffee & Soda and Boys Grow. And as always, we’ll have plenty of great snacks and drinks to enjoy while you shop.
- When: Friday, November 4
- Where: The Fervor office, 1705 Summit Street, Kansas City MO
- Time: 4 – 8 pm
With the recent destruction from Hurricane Matthew, Haiti needs help now more than ever — and the Global Orphan Project is on the front lines of the recovery, serving Haiti’s most vulnerable residents with aid they could not get otherwise. That’s why we’re featuring the GO Exchange pop-up shop this month, where proceeds serve Haitians in need.
GOEX is a global boutique dedicated to orphan prevention, and world class designers help local workers among the poor – mostly single moms – create beautiful, hand-crafted products that embody their own uplifting beauty. Headquartered right here in Kansas City, the organization is making impact around the globe.
GOEX items also make fantastic Christmas gifts, so make your list and check it twice before November 4! Shop jewelry, bags, scarves, gifts for baby, clothing and much more.
Goat Hill Coffee & Soda is our newest neighbor in Westside, and we’re in love with everything on their menu. Just in time for the cooler weather, the Goat Hill crew will be bringing samples of their fresh-brewed Post Coffee, as well as some can-be-spiked hot apple cider.
Boys Grow uses farming to teach entrepreneurship to at-risk boys ages 12-15, teaching them respect, commitment and pride along the way. They’ll be at First Friday with their delicious collection of sauces for sampling and for purchase. From ketchup and salsa to barbecue sauce and tzatziki salad dressing, there’s something for everyone. We especially dig their Avocado Hot Sauce!
All of us at Fervor are always trying to create more impact with what we’ve been given. As an extension of the Crossroads community, we love allowing our space to be used for more than creating great marketing for companies. First Fridays for Good honors this KC tradition, celebrating what makes Kansas City a great place to call home.
