The Power of an End-of-Year Giving Catalog
The Global Leadership Network (GLN) is primarily known for its Global Leadership Summit (GLS), yet it also dedicates significant resources to empowering a wide range of underserved leaders globally—from international communities and prisons to youth and women leaders. They came to us with the challenge of how to elevate these other initiatives without overshadowing the well-established GLS brand.
This year-end campaign was a chance to rally support during a crucial time, leveraging the holiday spirit and year-end giving momentum to bridge the funding gap for GLN’s initiatives. The results? We crushed it! We hit 112.5% of our goal.
So, how did we pull off this success? First, we tackled the challenge of integrating these lesser-known but crucial initiatives into the broader GLN narrative. We built the campaign from scratch, recognizing that GLN had previously funded these initiatives but had never executed a supercharged, time-bound campaign with specific goals.
We kicked things off by presenting GLN with several campaign themes, ultimately selecting one that resonated deeply. From there, we crafted a dynamic mood board and rolled out a variety of integrated deliverables. Our campaign toolkit was packed with powerful elements: a comprehensive giving catalog and a direct mail strategy featuring an eye-catching launch prayer card and engaging mailer. We topped it off with a splash page to maximize impact. We also created a comprehensive email series that kept the momentum going, from introducing the campaign to highlighting tax-deductible giving. Social media posts added another layer of engagement, drawing attention and driving traffic to the landing page.
Each piece was designed to resonate with the target audiences—past donors, Summit attendees, and a broad subscriber base—highlighting the tangible impact their contributions could make. With a plan in motion and a variety of connected creative content in place, our partners were able to crush their goal! This success showcases the magic that happens when great minds come together and execute a campaign with style and substance. The results confirmed that our integrated approach was spot on, setting the stage for even more successful campaigns in the future.
