Fervor + Max Lucado
Max Lucado’s team looked to Fervor to refresh maxlucado.com following the launch of his latest book, You Are Never Alone. Max’s new book needed to be highlighted and the rest of his fantastic resources made readily available and easy to navigate. No other Christian author has as many resources as Max, and we didn’t want visitors to miss a single resource they were looking for. Max’s ongoing video ministry and new podcast were a catalyst for the refresh. More than ever before, new fans and viewers were coming to the site after encountering Max’s videos. We knew that meant the site refresh needed to be clean and expressive, with a feel for Max’s core message. Essentially it needed to be all about grace and hope, ease of use, and welcoming to anyone at any place in their faith journey.
Following the refresh, the site’s performance score increased by nearly 30 points, so it was definitely cleaner and more efficient. The site experienced an 11% drop in page load time, which we believe helped lower the bounce rate (the percentage of people who quickly leave a site) by 15%! People from all different points of their faith journey continue to find Max and his message, and the site experienced 20% more new users than the previous full month. We were thrilled to help advance Max’s message and ministry.
