About Outreach
Outreach is a nonprofit serving vulnerable people in Chicago’s West Suburbs through relationships and community services that prepare them to reach their God-given potential. Together with donors, staff, ministry and strategic partners, and volunteers, they work to transform lives by loving their neighbors in word and deed. It starts with hope. A small light in the darkness that helps people see something better is possible because they are valued. They are capable. They are loved for who they are right now — in their place of need, their life stage, their neighborhood. Outreach creates pathways of promise that help people move out of dark places into the light of a better, more independent future.
Fervor + Outreach
A New Website to Demonstrate a Dynamic Organization
Outreach needed a more visually engaging brand identity to showcase just how dynamic and vibrant their organization really is. Once the design was refined, incorporating color in a strategic way to depict various service lines, it was easy to fold its visual elements into every page of the website design. A sense of movement — moving forward as an organization in a flourishing community — was infused through diagonal lines, shapes and angles that mimicked the new look.
With a rich history and lots of services to offer their community, Outreach had several years worth of existing blog content to migrate. It held SEO and educational value to garner searches for users and donors. In addition, Outreach chose a new URL, which underscored the importance of carrying over valuable search terms that would help the new site gain traction in search results. Migrating a high volume of content could have been time consuming and taxing on the budget. Fervor’s tools and streamlined processes saved time and money. Migrating that rich existing content and adding new content with fresh messaging gave Outreach a web presence that honors their past, fits who they are now, and sets them up to keep growing.
Outreach has a great future. They’re serving the communities of Chicago’s Western Suburbs in big ways through connections and relationships with an army of partners, volunteers and community leaders. We’re cheering you on and looking forward to the success today and in the future!
