Hephzibah Dutt is Fervor’s Content Writer. A scholar-artist and writer, Hephzibah loves sharing clients’ missions through vivid storytelling!
Hephzibah has over 15 years of combined work experience in theatre, writing, higher education, and coaching-consulting. Much of her work over this period has emerged from a studied intersection of Christianity, social justice, and drama. Now, “Story, Service, and Community” form the heart of Hephzibah’s personal manifesto.
A Third-Culture Kid from a globe-trotting family, Hephzibah has lived in India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and now calls Kansas City, MO home. Her early years in Kansas City witnessed an unexpected but ultimately fruitful detour from higher education—one that led her into grassroots community engagement and program management through a local housing-equity nonprofit. Since then, Hephzibah began activating her specialized communications and storytelling skill set for fundraising, advocacy, and mission-sharing.
Outside of Fervor, Hephzibah delights in creating hospitable and celebratory spaces for friends and family. These tend to be themed (possibly, costumed) events involving some level of gameplay. Attend at your own risk! She and her husband are also rehabbing an old home in the Historic Northeast neighborhood of Kansas City—a labor of love that may now take second place to their newly adopted puppy.
