Payton Docheff is Fervor’s Senior Content Strategist. Before he came to Fervor, he held local government, nonprofit and startup posts in communications and giving campaigns. He’s also had focused experiences in fundraising technology, guiding take-to-market strategies for charities implementing new software, new content or both. He holds a B.A. in Theology from Colorado Christian University and an M.T.S. in Philosophy, Theology and Ethics from Boston University.
At Fervor, Payton helps develop strategies and messaging and builds the strategic blueprints that guide various teams through the creative and execution process. In other words, he has the vital task of taking the team’s big ideas and making them actionable—a role he performs faithfully both for the Fervor team and for our client partners.
When he’s not doing marketing things, Payton likes trail and ultra running, disc golfing and cooking for his family. More recently, most non-working moments are spent in close and devoted proximity to his new daughter, Keeley.
Payton joined Fervor to put his nonprofit paces into practice. From content to software to data to distinctives, the stuff that keeps organizations away from their highest form of impact can be tough to pin down; Payton is uniquely and gratefully qualified to listen, decode and help build smart ways forward for our clients.
