5 Foundations of Great Nonprofit Websites
Achieving greatness for nonprofits is not reserved for top tier organizations with huge budgets, we’re all capable of it. I believe that, and at Fervor we have even managed to help many of our nonprofit and mission-driven clients achieve some great things.
Recently, I presented at Nonprofit Connect’s premier event — the Nonprofit Solutions Conference in Kansas City.
My goal was to help nonprofit organizations understand how to create great websites. Perhaps to just begin to believe that they can do it and then in some way provide a path for how to start. I showed a Nike commercial on greatness.
It began with some great statistics on why the web is important.
Did you know that 48% of visitors to a website that is not mobile friendly take it as an indicator that the organization doesn’t care. Not that they aren’t hip or trendy but that they don’t care! That’s a huge deal if you are a nonprofit who banks on being an organization who is impacting lives and making a difference.
Then we walked through the 5 Foundations for Great Nonprofit websites, according to us here at Fervor. We have some pretty strong opinions on the matter.
If you would like to take a peek at the slideshare, we’re only too happy to share. The only catch is, now you have to use it.
